- Recording 28 run stops in 2016, Geary ranked No. 2 in total run stops among returning Big-12 interior defenders with less than 400 run snaps.
- Geary has yet to turn his success against the run into production on passing downs, as he ranked No. 163 among draft-eligible interior defenders in pass rush productivity. He totaled just 16 pressures on 415 pass rush snaps.
