  • Virginia Tech LB Tremaine Edmunds often prevented opposing offenses from breaking off long runs, as he ranked No. 9 among draft-eligible linebackers in yards allowed per tackle (3.30) last season.
  • While ranking No. 4 in run stops among returning ACC linebackers with 39, Edmunds actually led all returning ACC linebackers in total stops (57).
  • To improve in his second season as a starter with the Hokies, Edmunds must work to improve his tackling ability. He ranked No. 91 in tackling efficiency among all draft-eligible linebackers.
