  • Indiana senior LB Tegray Scales reigned over opposing rushing attacks in the Big Ten last season, as he ranked No. 6 in the 2018 draft class in run stop percentage (12.6).
  • Scales recorded 54 run stops in 2016, eight more than any other returning Power 5 linebacker. He finished the season with 72 total stops.
  • At 6-feet, 230-pounds, Scales leaned on his ability to shed blocks to keep running backs from straying too far away from the line of scrimmage, as he had the second-highest percentage of positively graded plays against the run among draft-eligible linebackers.
  • Scales rarely misses tackles both against the run and in coverage, as his 15.4 combined tackling efficiency ranked No. 2 among returning Big Ten linebackers with at least 350 defensive snaps. He has missed just 24 of his 226 career tackle attempts.
