  • A coveted safety prospect coming out of the Big Ten, Penn State senior S Marcus Allen totaled 31 run stops in 2016 to finish the season ranked No. 1 among draft-eligible safeties.
  • Allen’s 88.0 run defense grade also ranked No. 1, but this time among all returning FBS safeties.
  • While playing 23.2 percent of his snaps in the box, Allen recorded an 8.3 percent run stop percentage lined up in the box, ranking No. 5 in the nation last season.
