- With seven sacks, 11 quarterback hits and 21 quarterback hurries, Davenport ranked No. 4 in total pressures (39) among all returning C-USA edge defenders in 2016.
- Davenport was at his best with his hand in the ground. He recorded a pressure 41.7 percent of the time he was in a three-point stance, the highest percentage of all draft-eligible edge defenders in the FBS.
- To round out his game, Davenport must improve his run defense. He ranked No. 50 among that same group of edge defenders in run stop percentage (6.6) last season.
