- Coleman earned the top grade in the 2018 draft class on gap runs in 2016, outshining Gaskin and all other draft-eligible running backs.
- Showing off some of his long-distance speed, Coleman recorded 14 runs of 15 yards or more last season, ranking No. 3 among that same group of running backs.
- A former three-star recruit out of Lompoc, California, Coleman earned a 101.5 elusive rating in 2016, which ranked No. 6 among returning Pac-12 running backs with at least 100 carries.
