  • USC junior LB Porter Gustin was a force to be reckoned with off the edge last season, totaling 44 total pressures to rank T-No. 1 among returning 3-4 outside linebackers in the Pac-12.
  • Gustin also led that same group of 3-4 outside linebackers in total run stops, as he amassed 28 run stops on 356 snaps against the run (7.9 percent) in 2016.
  • Totaling 36 total stops last season, Gustin ranked T-No. 6 among all returning FBS edge defenders.
  • Keeping him from having better production, Gustin missed 15 tackles last season, which was tied for the third-most of any FBS edge defender in the nation last season.
