It was a relatively tame Week 9 in college football. While six top-25 teams lost, none came from the top 10.

There are still plenty of changes to our latest top 25, though, as the playoff picture becomes clearer every week. Here’s how the PFF top 25 looks heading into Week 10. Please note that these are not the same as the PFF power rankings.

1. Ohio State Buckeyes (Record: 7-0, Previous: 1st)

Week 10 Matchup: vs. Penn State Nittany Lions

The reigning champs were off this past weekend and are back in action against Penn State in Week 10.

2. Indiana Hoosiers (Record: 8-0, Previous: 2nd)

Week 10 Matchup: at Maryland Terrapins

Indiana took care of business with a 56-6 win over UCLA this past weekend. The Hoosiers’ defense was dominant in the victory, allowing -0.592 EPA per play and 3.5 yards per play.

3. Texas A&M Aggies (Record: 8-0, Previous: 3rd)

Week 10 Matchup: Bye

After going into halftime down 18-14, Texas A&M exploded in the second half to beat No. 20 LSU 49-25. Quarterback Marcel Reed only needed to throw the ball three times in the second half as the Aggies ran for 138 yards in the final two quarters alone.

4. Alabama Crimson Tide (Record: 7-1, Previous: 4th)

Week 10 Matchup: Bye

Alabama barely escaped an upset from South Carolina, winning 29-22. Linebacker Deontae Lawson starred in the win with a 90.8 PFF run-defense grade that included a forced fumble late in the fourth quarter that set up the Crimson Tide’s game-winning touchdown.

5. Georgia Bulldogs (Record: 6-1, Previous: 5th)

Week 10 Matchup: vs. Florida Gators

Georgia was off this past weekend and is back in action in Jacksonville against Florida in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

6. BYU Cougars (Record: 8-0, Previous: 7th)

Week 10 Matchup: Bye

BYU is now off to 8-0 starts in back-to-back seasons, the first time in program history that it’s done that. True freshman Bear Bachmeier stepped up in the Cougars’ 41-27 win over Iowa State, posting an 81.7 PFF grade in the victory.

7. Ole Miss Rebels (Record: 7-1, Previous: 10th)

Week 10 Matchup: vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

Ole Miss moves up a few spots following its 34-26 win over No. 13 Oklahoma. The Rebels’ offensive line was phenomenal in the victory, only surrendering a 12.2% pressure rate. That’s even more impressive considering the Sooners entered the week with the highest pressure rate in the nation (47%).

Week 10 Matchup: at NC State Wolfpack

Georgia Tech is 8-0 for the first time since 1966 with a 41-16 win over Syracuse. Quarterback Haynes King continues to look like a potential Heisman candidate after recording an 82.2 PFF grade in the win, with three touchdown passes and two touchdowns on the ground.

Week 10 Matchup: at No. 20 Texas Longhorns

Vanderbilt is off to its first 7-1 start since 1941 with a 17-10 victory over No. 15 Missouri. The Commodores did an excellent job of slowing down the Tigers’ excellent ground game in the win, posting an 86.4 PFF run-defense grade.
