2024 Recap
Outside the upset over sixth-ranked Ole Miss, 2024 was a season to forget for Kentucky. The Wildcats stumbled to a 4-8 record, snapping a three-year winning streak and posting their worst season in 11 years. Quarterback Brock Vandagriff failed to live up to his five-star billing, finishing 100th in PFF passing grade (66.7) as Kentucky ranked 110th in EPA per pass.
The Wildcats addressed their struggling offensive line in the offseason, but questions remain about the passing game with yet another transfer quarterback, Zach Calzada, set to take over. Defensively, Kentucky lost some key pieces but projects to remain at least an average unit in 2025.
