The 2018 iteration of the final full week of the regular season in college football, the aptly-named ‘Rivalry Week,' is full of aspiring teams with hopes of being selected as one of four teams to join the College Football Playoff. While some rivalry matchups currently possess two teams who are vying for a potential spot in the playoff, others have archrivals who are hoping to play spoiler to their nemesis.

Other matchups pitting in-state rivals also draw intrigue this season as some are fighting for bowl eligibility, some are hoping to ride momentum into their conference championship and one team down in the Sunshine State that must defeat their bitter rival Gators, in order to stave off the worst season since 1976.

Either way you slice it, 2018's Rivalry Week is set to fuel fans with interesting and exciting matchups on Wednesday through Saturday. The PFF Analysis Team takes an in-depth look at all of the marquee matchups ahead of the games and the implications on the line.
