After trailing 31-22 with 8:23 left in regulation, Garrett Gilbert and the Orlando Apollos put together a late-game comeback to pull ahead of the Memphis Express in the final two minutes of play and win the game, 34-31. Gilbert completed 22-of-40 passes for 310 yards, two scores and two picks in the contest, including an 18-yard touchdown to Charles Johnson that sparked the team's fourth-quarter comeback win.

Memphis' Brandon Silvers completed 30-of-49 passes for 269 yards, one score and an interception in the affair. Express wide receiver Gerrard Sheppard accounted for 14 targets, nine receptions and 98 receiving yards as the team's leading receiver on the night.
Orlando's Terence Garvin and Jerel Worthy led the team on the defensive side of the ball, each totaling three defensive stops on the night. Edge defenders Andrew Ankrah and Earl Okine also contributed positively in the contest, combining for eight hurries, two hits and a sack against Memphis.
