- Adam Schefter of ESPN has reported that New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been suspended one game for his late hit on Buffalo Bills rookie cornerback Tre’Davious White in Week 13.
- Even though Gronkowski leads the league in yards per route run by a tight end with 2.33, it is the third-lowest yards per route run mark in the tight end’s eight-year career. His 91.3 percent of snaps played this season is the highest he has played since 2011.
- The New York native has earned the second-highest overall grade by a tight end this season at 88.3 overall, just behind the Chiefs’ Travis Kelce (88.4).
- With Martellus Bennett on injured reserve, the Patriots will look to Dwayne Allen and rookie Jacob Hollister in Gronkowski’s absence. Allen and Hollister have combined for 17 targets and 1.65 yards per route run so far this season.
