The fantasy football playoffs are upon many of us in Week 14. If you've made it – congratulations! And if you're not in pursuit of a championship, there are still bragging rights to play for.
If you're in the playoffs, your opinion on your roster might be to not change a thing, to dance with the partner that brought you there. That's a fine strategy, to be sure, but if you're nervous about one particular position now that the matchups really start to count for something, then heading to the waiver wire is not a bad proposition.
It can be hard, though, in leagues of 14, 16 or 18 teams or more. The waiver wire talent pool has been thin all season, and at this point in the year it's hard to find someone who can really contribute for you better than the players you already have.
However, never say never. There are opportunities still to be had via the waiver wire, even this late in the season. Whether you're contending for a championship or just playing out your season, you deep-league GMs looking for a spark should find something useful out of these three recommended waiver-wire additions for Week 14.
