The Buffalo Bills improved to 3-0 on Thursday Night Football, winning 31-21 against the Miami Dolphins.
Game Summary

According to the PFF noise-canceled score metric, the Bills deservedly won the game. They moved the ball much better, especially on early downs. The Dolphins were more efficient once reaching the red zone, but they didn’t get to that point as often as Buffalo.

Passing Summary
The Bills' passing offense displayed what we’ve seen from the group all season so far. Decent efficiency through the air and on scrambles with no major mistakes is enough for them to win most games.
The Dolphins' passing offense looked improved for a large portion of the game, but Tua Tagovailoa‘s essentially game-ending interception was a back-breaker.

Receiving Summary
It was an off-game for Keon Coleman, who was targeted for only 13 air yards. Khalil Shakir was mostly used in the screen and quick-passing games, and he made the most out of it with 45 yards after the catch. Dalton Kincaid moonlighted as the Bills' No. 1 receiver, recording the most targets, air yards and receiving yards.

The Dolphins' passing offense leaned heavily on Tyreek Hill and check-downs to De'Von Achane. But 49 yards on 10 targets for 145 targeted air yards is still a disappointment for the veteran Hill.

Rushing Summary
Both rushing offenses were decently efficient, with the Bills being better on early downs. The Dolphins' ground game couldn’t be stopped on third down and in the red zone, though.
