The final reviews of the Minnesota Vikings‘ 48-10 rout of the Cincinnati Bengals are in, and cornerback Isaiah Rodgers is officially the first player in the PFF era (since 2006) to achieve a “perfect” game grade on 10 or more defensive or offensive snaps. And he did it on a 41-rep sample.
By the time Rodgers bore down on Ja'Marr Chase late in the second quarter, he had already made his mark on the game.
The veteran ended the Bengals’ previous drive by punching the ball out of Noah Fant’s grasp and surging with it up the sideline for a 66-yard score — and that was his second touchdown of the day.
As Chase fought for yards just three plays later, Rodgers gave the same effort he had minutes earlier. He punched once again, and Cincinnati fumbled once again. It was his third forced turnover, and the halftime whistle had yet to blow.
In all, Rodgers ended the first half with a more-than-stuffed stat sheet: two forced fumbles, a pass breakup, an interception and two touchdowns. It resulted in a 99.9 PFF overall grade, which held up the rest of the way as he played into the third quarter before sitting. He allowed only one catch for two yards on three targets into his coverage.
| Player | Year, Week | PFF Game Grade (10+ Off./Def. Snaps) |
| CB Isaiah Rodgers | 2025, Week 3 | 99.9 |
| TE Matt Spaeth | 2012, Week 2 | 99.1 |
| QB Lamar Jackson | 2019, Week 10 | 98.7 |
| T Andrew Whitworth | 2010, Week 15 | 98.4 |
| LB Troy Reeder | 2022, Week 11 | 98.3 |
Rodgers' 99.3 PFF coverage grade on 26 coverage snaps also breaks the single-game record. It's the best mark in the PFF era among those with at least 15 coverage snaps, easily topping Bengals cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick‘s 97.9 grade in 2014 (19 coverage snaps). No other player has logged even a 94.0 PFF coverage grade in a game through three weeks of the 2025 campaign.
Rodgers is no stranger to earning high PFF grades. All three of his full seasons have yielded at least a 70.0 PFF overall grade, and he was the position’s 12th-highest-graded run defender last year (83.4).
But a 99.9 grade? That stands alone in PFF history.
Minnesota signed the 27-year-old this offseason to a two-year deal worth $11 million in base value after he helped the Eagles stymie the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59. Now, he's an integral part of Brian Flores' defense and etched into the PFF record books.
