We know that quarterback is the most important position on the field, but a great pass rush is the ultimate equalizer. Pressure disrupts timing, rhythm and accuracy, something only the elite quarterbacks can consistently overcome.
Last season, 13 of the top 15 teams in PFF pass-rush grade had a winning record. In 2023, 15 of the top 16 teams in PFF pass-rush grade had a winning record. A dominant pass-rush is undeniably crucial to a team’s success over the course of the season.
Each week, after every NFL game is graded and reviewed, PFF will check in on the top pass rushers of the 2025 season. These rankings will change drastically early in the campaign, as one sack, hit or pressure can significantly alter a player's grade when the sample size is small. But as snap counts rise, the grades will stabilize and we'll get a clearer picture of the league's best pass rushers.
Here are the top 32 pass rushers for the 2025 season after Week 12. For more grades and statistics on the league's best pass-rushers, check out PFF Premium Stats.

Week 12 Highlights
Best Pass Rusher: Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns
Garrett’s 92.8 PFF pass-rush grade was the highest of any player in Week 12 — and marked the third time in the past four games that he earned a 90.5-plus figure. The future Hall of Famer recorded three more sacks against the Raiders, bringing his season-long total to 18. Incredibly, his 13 sacks over the past four games alone would tie Brian Burns for the most in the NFL for the season.
Most Pressures: Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns; Josh Hines-Allen, Jacksonville Jaguars
Garrett and Hines-Allen each logged 11 quarterback pressures in Week 12. For Garrett, his 11 pressures were his most in a game since Week 15 last season against the Chiefs. Meanwhile, it was Hines-Allen's best total since Week 12 of the 2023 season against the Texans.
Highest Win Rate: Derick Hall, Seattle Seahawks
Hall was part of a relentless Seahawks pass rush that generated 42 pressures against Cam Ward and the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. His 34.8% pass-rush win rate paced the league. He has developed into one of the more complete edge defenders in the NFL in his third season.
Best Rookie Pass Rusher: Warren Brinson, Green Bay Packers
Brinson has played just five games this season but has been highlighted as a top rookie pass rusher twice, and he led all rookies in PFF pass-rush grade in Week 12 (83.5). The sixth-round pick out of Georgia recorded five quarterback pressures and got in on his first career sack (officially 0.5) as the Packers held the Vikings to just six points in a dominant defensive effort.

– 18 sacks (1st)

With 18 sacks through 11 games, the six-time All-Pro is on pace to shatter the NFL record for sacks in a season (22.5). Garrett has simply been in a tier of his own since the Browns made him the No. 1 overall pick in 2017; he is on track to earn his seventh straight 90.0-plus PFF pass-rush grade in a season.
Most Pressures: Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit Lions
Hutchinson generated six pressures against the Giants (including a sack on the final play of the game in overtime to clinch the victory), bringing his season total to a league-leading 68. Hutchinson has been a model of consistency, recording at least five pressures in nine of 11 games this season.
Highest Win Rate: Myles Garrett, Cleveland Browns
Houston Texans star Will Anderson Jr. has led the way in pass rush win rate for most of the season but falls to second on the list behind Myles Garrett after yet another dominating performance in Week 12. Garrett (27.9%) and Anderson Jr. (27.2%) are the only two players in the league with a win rate above 24.5% this season.
Best Rookie Pass Rusher: Abdul Carter, New York Giants
Carter leads all rookies in PFF pass-rush grade (75.0), total pressures (38) and win rate (13.1%). While he has just 0.5 sacks through the first 12 weeks, penalties have negated some of his production in that department. He is making a clear impact as a pass rusher for the Giants in his rookie season.
