Home stat crew: Moderate volume tackles; Solo-heavy
Projected tackles: Arizona – 48.35 solo, 9.34 assist; St. Louis – 48.19 solo, 8.24 assist
Tony Jefferson is playing every-down with Tyrann Mathieu sidelined. Those in a pinch at defensive back may want to take a look at Jefferson. I also wouldn’t worry too much about Rashad Johnson’s lackluster Week 14 stat line. It was more the product of the game script than it was poor play. Fire Johnson back up as a borderline DB1 this week.
All of Robert Quinn’s 10.5 sacks have come in the last eight games. He’s on fire right now, so don’t even think about sitting him. … However, you may be thinking about sitting James Laurinaitis and/or Alec Ogletree, as they get a poor matchup in Week 15 against a struggling Arizona running game that is now without Andre Ellington. You likely don’t have better options this week, but both get a matchup downgrade on Thursday night.
