These are some of the best player prop bets to target in Week 2 for the 2025 NFL season.

TE Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Cincinnati Bengals
- Over 3.5 receptions (+125)

PFF analyst Ben Linsey highlighted the Brenton Strange angle during this week's PFF Betting show, explaining his potential for a breakout performance from a yardage standpoint. There is also a value in highlighting increased volume potential this week against a Bengals defense that has struggled to cover tight ends.
In Week 1, Strange hauled in all four of his targets for 59 yards, earning himself the second-highest PFF receiving grade (82.2) among tight ends. Head coach Liam Coen should utilize him to exploit matchup advantages in the passing game on late downs.
This past week perfectly illustrated the Bengals' issues with covering tight ends, with the Browns’ David Njoku and Harold Fannin Jr. combining for 10 receptions and 100 yards on 14 targets. Since the start of last season, Cincinnati has allowed the second-most receptions to tight ends (121), totaling more than 1,200 yards of production.
RB Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans vs. Los Angeles Rams
- Under 2.5 receptions (+104)

The Titans are coming off a tough offensive outing this past week against a stout Broncos defense. Now, they head right back into battle with a strong Rams defense.
Although Pollard showed some juice in the receiving game in Week 1, catching a 29-yard check-down to bail out a pressured Cam Ward, that was his only target in the game. Even against the Broncos' strong pass rush and sticky coverage, the Titans opted not to involve their backs in the short passing game, despite it potentially benefiting their young quarterback, who was under fire all game.
Enter the Rams defense, which also possesses a high-powered pass rush that the Titans’ pass protection will struggle to hold in check. To make matters worse, Pollard will have to contend with drawing coverage from Nate Landman, who earned the second-highest PFF coverage grade (90.8) among linebackers in Week 1.
