As many leagues wind down this week, I thought I’d take this opportunity to look at a few of the other splits the various PFF stat pages have to offer. Frequent readers know that WR Rating refers to a quarterback’s rating when throwing to that receiver. Developed by Mike Clay, aDOT is the average depth of target. Stnd PPO refers to points per opportunity in standard leagues. Targets, routes, and yards per route all correlate much better with fantasy points than some of the other advanced stats, but there is an interesting descriptive aspect to these other stats which may help you get a jump on possible strategic changes teams will make in the offseason.
These are full year numbers. For specific questions about Week 15 developments that might impact your championship lineups, feel free to ask me @FF_Contrarian.
