We’re back again, looking at the top player stacks in daily fantasy for Week 4. Every week we’ll look back at the previous week’s results to see how well (or poorly) we did. Obviously, I will throw caveats out there for all the contrarian stacks I took a shot on. Last week wasn’t as great as the one before it. We got the Dolphins right, but a stack including Jarvis Landry instead of Jay Ajayi to go along with Ryan Tannehill and DeVante Parker was the optimal move. Philip Rivers, Melvin Gordon and Tyrell Williams didn’t hit in an odd game where the Chargers moved the ball at will but didn’t score touchdowns. Finally, an injury to Russell Wilson ruined a Wilson/Doug Baldwin/Tyler Lockett that had serious potential if Lockett was swapped for Christine Michael. We will try to learn from our Week 3 mistakes and offer a better Week 4 product.
Yahoo
Joe Flacco, QB, Mike Wallace and Steve Smith, WRs, (Ravens vs. Raiders)
We’re starting things off with our Yahoo stack this week, because quite frankly, it’s the one we’re most confident in. This stack has all the makings of a favorable tournament play. It’s an incredibly cheap stack. Flacco hasn’t shown enough consistency in fantasy football to garner a high ownership percentage, and the same can be said about Smith. In addition, the matchup is there for all three players. Lastly, and most importantly, the game should feature an excellent pace and flow for fantasy stats. Let’s break these points down one-by-one.
