The Jets are going to move on without Decker

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the New York Jets have informed wide receiver Eric Decker they will either trade or release him this week.
Decker only played in three games in 2016, but has been a model of consistency in his NFL career, earning a 77.4 production grade or better from PFF every year 2012-2015. His 82.7 grade in 2015 was the highest of his career.
In 2015, Decker was tied for third in the NFL with 7 touchdowns on routes run out of the slot and his 56 receptions ranked fifth-most out of the slot.
In 2015, Decker scored a touchdown on 9.52 percent of his targets, which was the sixth-highest mark of any receiver in the NFL with at least 60 targets.
QBs had a 114.1 rating when targeting him in 2015, tied with Odell Beckham Jr. for the 11th-best mark in the NFL.
