- McCown’s adjusted completion percentage of 65.8 percent last year 36th out 37 qualified quarterbacks, as only Panthers QB Cam Newton was worse.
- McCown struggled when under pressure in 2016. His passer rating of 51.1 was 27th among 37 qualified quarterbacks when under duress.
- McCown liked to throw the deep ball, as 13.9 percent of his attempts last season were targets of 20 yards or more downfield. That tied for the fourth highest deep pass attempt percentage in the NFL.
