Ouch. Week 4 was not good to either of our two contestants as they totaled just 11 wins between them.

Nathan (30-29-5) did manage to sneak away with one more correct call than Joe and increased his overall lead to five games while barely staying above the 50 percent mark on the year. Joe's rough run continues as he's now a full nine games under .500 and trailing in the “Favorite Picks” category too, Nathan: 10-4-2, Joe: 5-10-1.
.
Everyone loves an underdog, so I'm sure Joe is gathering fans as we speak, but with the season a quarter of the way done, even the Joe's top supporters have to be wondering when he's going to make his move.

Philadelphia -2.5 @ Buffalo
Nathan: I think Philadelphia realizes just how far behind they are now, and how much worse it will get if they ruin this one. Pick: Philadelphia to cover
Joe: Eagles should be able to bring enough pressure on Fitzpatrick to make the difference. This is a much tougher challenge than San Francisco though. Pick: Philadelphia to cover
.
.
New Orleans -7 @ Carolina
Nathan: This will be a high scoring game, and when that happens we could see a weird result. I think it’s safer to take the points. Pick: Carolina and the points
Joe: Carolina is ripe for a big letdown. Saints are a dangerous team to play in that type of spot so we will see what happens. Pick: Saints to cover
.
.
Oakland @ Houston -5.5
Nathan: I almost picked Oakland to win this straight up, and they can at least keep things close. Pick: Oakland and the points◄
Joe: This seems like a pretty good matchup for the Texans so I will try them even though it is a lot of points. Pick: Texans to cover◄
.
.
Kansas City @ Indianapolis -3
Nathan: I think it’s about time that the Colts win one, but I could see it being by just a point. Pick: Kansas City and the points
Joe: The Chiefs got a big win last week, and I think they build on that with another win over the Colts. Pick: Kansas City and the points◄
.
.
Cincinnati @ Jacksonville -1
Nathan: Cincinnati has beat some good teams and lost to bad teams, while Jacksonville has just lost to good teams. I think Jacksonville wins this one. Pick: Jacksonville to cover
Joe: Cincy had a decent matchup against the Bills, and still struggled. Dalton is way too inconsistent to really know what to expect, but I will pick them anyways since I know nothing about the Jags haha. Pick: Cincinnati and the points.
.
.
Arizona @ Minnesota -2
Nathan: Arizona has only beat Cam Newton in his debut, and Minnesota just deserves to win one by now. Pick: Minnesota to cover◄
Joe: I really don’t know how Arizona blew it last week, but thank god for teasers. I will roll with the cards again on the road since the Vikings' offense is nonexistent. Pick: Arizona and the points◄
.
.
Seattle @ New York Giants -10
Nathan: I like the Giants win it for sure, but I’m playing things safe since I could see Seattle at least keeping this close. Pick: Seattle and the points
Joe: I don’t believe the Giants should be laying 10 points to anyone. Pick: Seattle and the points
.
.
Tennessee @ Pittsburgh -3.5
Nathan: Pittsburgh seems to be falling apart while Tennessee seems to be putting it together. Pittsburgh just has so much talent that I still think they will win, but this could be an upset. Pick: Tennessee and the points◄
Joe: Without getting too far into some of these games, I'm left guessing, especially on teams like the Titans, but I will take them as they have a few positive indicators. Pick: Tennessee and the points
.
.
Tampa Bay @ San Francisco -3
Nathan: I’m typically against picking teams from the NFC West, and when they are picked to win I know what to do. Pick: Tampa Bay and the points◄
Joe: I really like the Bucs in this matchup even though they struggle at times on offense. Might all come down to play calling, because Freeman will have to make some throws for the W. Pick: Tampa Bay and the points◄
.
.
San Diego -4 @ Denver
Nathan: San Diego should win this one easily, with how much talent the Chargers have compared to Denver. Pick: San Diego to cover
Joe: You would think the Chargers take this easy, but they are missing quite a few guys last time I was able to check. I will take a long shot with Denver somehow keeping it close. Pick: Denver and the points
.
.
New York Jets @ New England -9.5
Nathan: The Patriots are the better team and they are playing at home. I just think there is a better chance that its close or the Jets win than the Patriots winning big. Pick: New York and the points
Joe: Did you see how much time Joe Flacco had in the pocket? Pick: Patriots to cover
.
.
Green Bay -6 @ Atlanta
Nathan: Atlanta’s biggest weakness so far has been their offensive line, which the Packers won’t take advantage of. Pick: Atlanta and the points
Joe: Atlanta was embarrassed last year by the Pack, and Ryan is flying a bit under the radar. Six points at home is a lot for that offense. Pick: Atlanta and the points
.
.
Chicago @ Detroit -5.5
Nathan: Detroit wins games, but unless it’s against Kansas City they don’t win by much. Pick: Chicago and the points
Joe: Detroit should make a mess of that Bear O-line. Maybe the Lions can put together a complete game on MNF. Will go Lions for now. Pick: Lions to cover
