Tennessee, DeAngelo Brown agree to a deal

  • The Titans signed ex-Louisville NT DeAngelo Brown as an undrafted free agent. He was PFF’s top remaining interior defensive lineman after the draft.
  • Brown is ranked as PFF’s No. 6 UDFA. He was 135th on the PFF Draft Big Board and he ranked 15th for interior defensive linemen.
  • He posted 26 total pressures of the quarterback and 20 run stops and last season. He finished 2016 with a PFF run-defense grade of 85 and a pass-rush grade of 77.3.
  • His five run stops in the East-West Shrine Game helped give him the second-best overall PFF grade for the contest.
  • None of the Titans’ nose tackles posted PFF grades higher than 48.5 last season.
