- Ian Rapoport reports the Detroit Lions have lost edge defender/linebacker Brandon Copeland for the entire 2017 season after suffering a torn pectoral muscle in Sunday’s preseason game versus the Indianapolis Colts. Copeland has been with the Lions since 2015 after being offered a contract following his appearance in the veterans combine.
