- Kansas City Chiefs’ second-year receiver Demarcus Robinson has had a “pretty good offseason,” said head coach Andy Reid when talking with the Kansas City Star.
- Robinson failed to draw a single target during the regular season in 2016, but in preseason he was targeted eight times for three catches for 34 yards, with one target was intercepted. Quarterbacks had a rating of 11.5 when targeting him, which ranked 172nd of 175 qualifying receivers.
- In his final year at Florida, Robinson averaged 1.51 yards per route run which ranked 226 out of 332 qualifying receivers.
- Robinson’s deep-ball catch rate of 13.3 percent ranked 224th out of 235 qualifying receivers, as he only hauled in two passes for 74 yards and a touchdown.
