Falcons sign former UConn Huskie T Andreas Knappe

  • The Atlanta Falcons signed undrafted free agent T Andreas Knappe, who won a league championship in the Danish American Football Federation at age 20 before heading to the University of Connecticut in 2012.
  • Knappe ranked as the 278th overall prospect and the 18th best tackle prospect on PFF’s Final Draft Board.
  • At his pro day, he measured in at a massive 6-foot-8 and 311 pounds.
  • Knappe took huge steps forward as both a run blocker and a pass blocker in his second year as a full-time starter at UConn in 2016.
