- ESPN’s Mike Wells reports from Indianapolis Colts training camp safety T.J. Green is getting reps at cornerback. The Colts took Green with a second-round pick in the 2016 draft.
- Green’s 2016 grade of 32.5 was the lowest grade among safeties and the ninth-lowest grade regardless of position last season. Green’s highest grade component came in pass-rush (64.9), while his lowest came in coverage (32.7).
- In his 15 coverage snaps played last week against the Detroit Lions, Green saw no targets into coverage. He received a grade of 72.5 on 24 snaps, and a coverage grade of 79.0. The position switch to cornerback will mark his second in three years. His final season at Clemson he made the switch to safety from wide receiver.
