- The Buffalo Bills will enter the 2017 season with both a new offensive coordinator and new offensive line coach, however, Bills insider Chris Brown expects only “subtle changes” to the team’s rushing attack.
- The Buffalo Bills utilized zone runs on 56.4 percent of their rushing attempts in 2016, and were named the most successful team on both inside and outside zone runs in PFF analyst Zoltan Buday’s Best offensive line units by run concept from 2016.
- McCoy should be happy to hear that little will change, as he excelled on zone runs last season, averaging 5.5 yards per carry, the third highest average among running backs with at least 40 carries.
