  • According to Field Yates, Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor has passed the NFL’s concussion protocol and is expected to start against the New York Jets this Sunday.
  • Taylor has been an unconventional quarterback, one whose ability to improvise and move around resulted in the highest average time to throw in the NFL last year among 37 qualifying quarterbacks, with 3.35 seconds. He also fields the highest average time to sack with 4.62 seconds.
  • While starting his career off slow, (only playing a combined 128 snaps in his first four years in the league) Taylor had a break out season in 2015, where he ended the year with an overall grade of 86.0. He followed that up in 2016 with an overall grade of 83.2, landing him 13th among 34 qualifying quarterbacks. His run grade of 87.1 last year was the highest among all quarterbacks.
