21:53 RELEASE! Another Chargers move and this one links to the bringing back of Charlie Whitehurst. They've cut Billy Volek and saved a fair old amount of money on their cap as a result. It's been a long time since Volek saw significant regular season action but presuming team GMs don't forget about how good he looked lobbing deep balls to Drew Bennett all those years ago he may draw some interest for a backup role.
21:31 SIGNING! The Chargers have signed Atari Bigby to a two year deal according to Aaron Wilson (who isn't missing anything by the way). It seems logical that they've found a guy who can come in and replace Steve Gregory, with Bigby always capable of doing a job when he gets on the field. He only managed 155 snaps last year, but received a +3.5 for his troubles as he was worked into some Seattle sub packages in addition to backing up a very good safety pairing. He'll have to earn a starting job, but this has the potential to be something of an upgrade for a Chargers team that have hit on a lot of moves so far.
21:08 For those interested in contract numbers, Scott Wells got $24m with $13m guaranteed over four years. It's almost as if the Texans waited for Wells to get a deal then just added a $1m on to Myers figures to seal the deal.
20:32 RE-SIGNING! Finally some good news for Texan fans as the ‘Texodus' is temporarily halted. Adam Schefter reports that the team has agreed to a deal with Chris Myers, our top ranked center from 2011 and obviously a hugely important part of their zone blocking system. After all, they were prepared to let Mike Brisiel go and cut Eric Winston, so you should get an idea how valued Myers is. There goes a man who would have been number three on tomorrows top 75 free agent list. The figures are in at 4 years, $25m with $14m of that guaranteed.
20:27 The Cardinals have interest in Demetrius Bell but according to Kent Somers, he was visiting with the Redskins as well. Slightly peculiar one this, with Bell one of the better available left tackles on the market and the Redskins locked into Trent Williams (and rightfully so) for the foreseeable future. He makes a lot more sense for a Cards team that really doesn't want to have Levi Brown at left tackle for another year.
19:56 SIGNING! After stealing a third round pick and moving up in the 2nd round a couple of years back, the Chargers have brought Charlie Whitehurst home. He should look forward to sideline duty on Sundays after fluffing his chance to be a number one quarterback in Seattle. Needless to say we weren't impressed with his performance that earned him a -5.0 grade in 2011.
19:44 Fox Sports has dropped some knowledge for Chiefs fans, in that Brady Quinn will be visiting with the team. Matt Cassel is hardly inspiring but does anyone see Quinn challenging him or pushing him on? The former Browns first round pick is likely to continue making a living holding a clipboard. Not a bad way to make a living.
19:30 Correction on the Tom Zbikowski front where according to his agent no deal has yet to be done with the Colts. It doesn't mean it won't happen and it still feels a bit odd to see the Colts somewhat active in free agency. These are strange days …
19:23 RELEASE! The Arizona Cardinals are in a bad mood after losing out on Peyton Manning, and they've taken that anger out on Chansei Stuckey by releasing him. Either that or they saw enough in the 70 routes he ran last year to realize he wasn't something worth investing in. We've never been all that impressed by the former Jet who hasn't managed more than 400 yards in each of the last four seasons.
19:13 SIGNING! We last heard that Scott Wells was visiting with the Titans, but just like that he's signed with the St Louis Rams. Jim Thomas of the St Louis Post Dispatch just about broke the news before everyone else as the Rams try to wash the taste out of their mouths after the money they wasted on Jason Brown. Our fourth ranked center last year, kudos to the Rams for sorting out their center position. It leaves a pretty big hole for the Packers so could we see them make a move in free agency with such a stacked center market? We shall wait and see.
19:04 Tony Softli is reporting that the Rams are closing in on Mario Manningham. The best receiver left on the market, Manningham finds himself in a strong negotiating position with plenty of teams needing help in the passing game. Not always the most consistent, he was one of the receivers Sam Monson profiled in his look at their free agent market.
18:38 SIGNING! After saving a pretty penny by releasing Kamerion Wimbley, the Raiders have made another move according to Vittorio Tafur. They need bodies at cornerback and they've got a talented one in Ron Bartell. It's not ideal he's coming off a fractured neck, but he's checked out medically and has played well at times over the past four years. Take his performance in 2010, where we gave him a +4.5 coverage grade. Oakland may not be in the market for premium free agents but they are making some shrewd moves. And we do like some shrewd moves.
18:26 SIGNING! Adam Schefter follows that up by letting us know that the Raiders have found enough change down the back of the couch to sign Mike Brisiel. He was 35th overall in our guard rankings and while he has limited upside, does fit the zone blocking scheme the Raiders will be running, and can't be much worse than the recently released Cooper Carlisle.
18:23 RE-SIGNING! The Cowboys have brought Kevin Ogletree back on a one year deal according to Adam Schefter. Ogletree visited with the Giants but left without an offer and now finds himself back fighting for playing time in Dallas. There is a third receiver spot there to be taken but Ogletree didn't exactly put down a claimer for it with the 199 routes he ran in 2011.
17:34 RE-SIGNING! Courtesy of Vaughn McClure, we now know that the Chicago Bears have inked a two deal with returning safety Craig Stelz. In his 419 snaps last year we were relatively impressed with fourth round pick who graded positively in every area once he hit the field and put on a particularly good show over the final five weeks of the season. He should compete for a starting spot, and the Bears should feel comfortable if he's the guy he goes for. He spent 50.6% of run defense snaps within 8 yards of the line of scrimmage.
17:23 Interesting news from Ian Rapoport who informs us the other team in the market for Reggie Wayne was the New England Patriots. It does seem an odd fit given the Patriots failure to effectively stretch the field appeared a problem against some of the better defenses in the leagues. Wayne has caught just 21 balls thrown over 20 yards in the air over the past three years but has some of the best hands in the business and a knack for getting open.
17:07 A bit of a lull in free agency as we hit Friday evening and March Madness takes over twitter but the slow down on Mario Manningham‘s front wasn't his own decision it would seem. According to Jim Thomas, Manningham couldn't get to St Louis last night and arrived early this afternoon for his visit with the Rams. Manningham appears to be leading off the second tier of receivers but has the potential to offer better value than some of the guys who got massive deals across the first three days of free agency. There are still plenty of teams in dire need for help at receiver so there should still be a healthy market for Manningham who has proven to be a difference maker on the very biggest stage.
16:55 Don't forget to check out our Deal Grader for our opinion on the signings and re-signings so far in free agency. How long until Peyton Manning signs? Who will be the next +1.5 signing to either propel their team forwards or give them a great value contributor?
16:38 The inside slant on Peyton Manning‘s workout in North Carolina today comes from none other than John Elway. Elway has just tweeted that Manning “threw the ball great and looked very comfortable out there”. We are all well versed in coach speak and this could just as easily be truth as it could be diversionary. Did the 49ers leave their workout with Manning holding the same opinion? One thing is for sure we are at least one or two steps closer to finding out where Manning will be playing football in 2012.
16:28 With the Jets bringing in Drew Stanton, they no longer have a need to bring in Brady Quinn. A number of teams that have been looking for a backup quarterback have found their guy, so his remaining options are limited. He didn't take an offensive snap the two years he was in Denver, so the last we've seen him play is 2009 with the Browns where he completed just 53.1% of his passes, and had 5.2 yards per attempt.
16:06 SIGNING! Adam Caplan reports that tight end Fred Davis signed his franchise tender today to remain with the Redskins. He emerged as the top tight end in Washington as a great receiver but a less than stellar run blocker. He had an average catch rate at 70.2%, but it was what he did after he had the ball in his hand that was special. He had 366 yards after the catch which was fifth highest in the league for tight ends, and had 10 players miss tackles on him which was sixth highest. He did this despite missing the last fourth of the season with an injury. While many parts in the Washington offense have been changing, this is one piece of the puzzle that will remain the same.
15:56 SIGNING! It has been confirmed by the Ravens twitter account that Matt Birk has agreed to a three year deal with the Ravens. While Baltimore has been losing players on defense left and right, the Ravens are capable of having one of the best interior lines that we have seen. At right guard Marshal Yanda posted the highest PFF rating by a right guard. At center Birk still ranked in the top 10 last year despite some rough games late in the season, and Baltimore could still sign Evan Mathis who rated as our highest left guard last year.
15:37 SIGNING! Jason La Canfora reports that the Jets are expected to sign wide receiver Chaz Schilens today. He has never made much of an impact in his four years with the Raiders as he's never surpassed 500 snaps. Most of his passes were close to the line of scrimmage which led to a high 67.6% catch rate. He had just two dropped passes but also had two touchdowns. His numbers look rather similar to Jeremy Kerley, so he will likely be fighting with Kerley for snaps. (Update: The Jets twitter account confirms that Schilens has signed)
15:27 BONUSES! Suzy Kolber reports that the Cardinals will pay Kevin Kolb his $7 million bonus keeping him with the team as their QB1 heading into OTAs and training camps. Earlier reports had the Cardinals being told to move forwards as if they were out of the running for Peyton Manning making this the obvious move as a result. Also receiving a bonus is Baltimore LT Bryant McKinnie who Aaron Wilson reports will be paid his $500,000 roster bonus. An extension down the road for McKinnie is also not out of the question suggesting the Ravens are far happier with what they got from McKinnie at LT in 2011 than what they got from Michael Oher in 2010.
15:19 RELEASE! According to Adam Caplan the Oakland Raiders have just informed Kamerion Wimbley that he will be released and not receive his payments this off-season. Wimbley is still a solid contributor to the Raiders as a pass rusher but the cap strapped Raiders were never going to pay his bonuses this off-season. Wimbley plays as a stand up linebacker in base defense but makes all of his plays as a situational pass rusher in sub packages making him a three down linebacker of the same ilk as Von Miller. That could yet see Wimbley attract interest as a three down player but he will at least see a number of offers as a sub package rush end. Wimbley's 2011 season as a pass rusher was dominated by two huge games in Denver and San Diego, he didn't record more than two pressures in a game after Week 12.
15:16 SIGNING! The Jets have been hunting around for a backup quarterback in the last few days and according to Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News they have found their guy. Former Lions' quarterback Drew Stanton has agreed to a one year deal to come in as Mark Sanchez's back up on the green side of New York. After seeing Mark Brunell throw some lame ducks against the Eagles late last year it's not surprising to see the Jets move on but Stanton offers zero threat to overthrow Sanchez but also zero threat to push him forwards either. The Jets have been all too eager to remind everyone, both inside and outside the team, that Sanchez is the Jets' guy and signing Stanton only reinforces the fact that he will not be challenged.
15:11 SIGNING! New coaches have a habit of raiding their former teams and Chuck Pagano is starting to do that to Baltimore leaving them a little thin at safety. Part time boxer Tom Zbikowski has agreed to terms with the Colts according to Dan Pompei and after the departure of Haruki Nakamura to the Panthers the Ravens are now thin behind starters Ed Reed and Bernard Pollard though neither loss is devastating to them. Both Zbikowski and Nakamura have gone in search of more playing time, both offer special teams ability to their new teams and Zbikowski also offers Indianapolis another option as a safe pair of hands on returns.
15:06 Further to his visit in Detroit, former Charger LT Marcus McNeill also has visits lined up with Kansas City and Oakland according to ProFootballTalk. With the Chiefs presumably looking at him as a right tackle Atlanta is the most interesting fit. The Falcons finally gave up on Sam Baker after a dreadful start to this season and got solid play from Will Svitek on Matt Ryan's blindside. McNeill is out in San Diego after they re-signed Jared Gaither but he has been quick to find a market elsewhere. How long he has left is the big question mark but is a solid short term option.
14:55 Keep up to date with our free agent tracker and our top 75 free agent list throughout the day to see who your team could yet target.
14:40 RE-SIGNING! Imminent. According to Adam Schefter the Ravens and veteran C Matt Birk are on the brink of agreeing to a deal that will bring Birk back to Baltimore. Questions abounded about whether Birk would return to the game and a quote from his agent suggested they were fielding calls from other teams but this could be the first step towards giving the Ravens potentially the best interior offensive line in the entire league. If the Ravens can get Birk and finish the deal with Evan Mathis who had a visit spanned over Thursday and Friday the Ravens would have our #1 ranked left guard, our #9 ranked center and our #1 ranked right guard at the heart of the offensive line. That is a grouping not to be sniffed at.
14:27 RE-SIGNING! Adam Schefter reports that the Falcons have come to a three year agreement with their own DE John Abraham. Abraham entered the day as our 2nd ranked available free agent behind only Peyton Manning, whilst he is advancing in years he still has at least a couple of years left in the tank and over the last four years has been one of the most consistent and effective pass rushers in the entire league. Only Trent Cole received a higher grade for pass rushing as a 4-3 defensive end with Abraham picking up 59 total pressures this season, down only slightly from 60 in 2010.
14:23 SIGNING! Per Jason LaCanfora the Panthers are continuing their strive to upgrade their special teams with the signing of former Viking LB/ST Kenny Onatolu on a three year deal. Onatolu was one of the league's recent CFL converts but failed to develop into anything more than a special teamer for the Vikings. Onatolu registered on 73 snaps on defense in Minnesota over three seasons. Onatolu was 2nd on the Vikings with 11 special teams tackles in 2011 but also led the team with 3 missed tackles on special teams.
14:20 RELEASE! Perhaps not a surprise after the Browns' activity in free agency thus far the Browns have cut ties with former starting DE Jayme Mitchell. Mitchell was a complete non factor for the Browns this season, nothing more than average as a run defender he couldn't muster any pass rush opposite impressive rookie Jabaal Sheard. Mitchell only registered 15 total pressures on 376 pass rushes and was “shutout” in six games as a pass rusher.
14:02 Huge news from Chris Mortensen who reports that the mysterious third team (cue music) in the running for Peyton Manning is none other than the San Francisco 49ers! “Mort” reports that Manning worked out for HC Jim Harbaugh and took a physical this week. Manning would be an outstanding fit on a 49er team that was within touching distance of a Super Bowl this season and hooking Manning up with Vernon Davis and that defense would surely make the 49ers favorites for the next Super Bowl? The biggest question in all this though is how, when the NFL Network has been tailing Manning all week, did he manage to slip the net for long enough to fit in a workout for Harbaugh?
13:45 SIGNING! The Cowboys have jumped into the guard market and much like the Cardinals have started near the bottom of the pile. According to Jason LaCanfora the Cowboys and Nate Livings have agreed to a 5 year, $19 million contract with $6.2 million guaranteed. Livings has started since halfway through the 2009 season and in that time his total grade is -24.0 and has struggled with both his pass protection and his run blocking. Just about the kindest thing you can say about Livings is that he was inconsistent this season, but when he was bad Week 5, Week 8 and Week 12 in particular, he was atrocious. If the Cowboys planned to have Livings shore up their issues at left guard they are misguided.
13:38 SIGNING! According to Brian McIntyre the Redskins have got the check book again this time to pick up a cornerback. Reports had them entertaining former Giant Aaron Ross in coming days but they have agreed to terms with former Viking Cedric Griffin. Recovering from an ACL injury from the 2010 season put in a solid season this year grading around average in coverage which is impressive for a playing coming off of such an injury. Griffin has proven in the past to be a capable coverage corner and plays well in run defense, grading positively over the last four seasons. What Griffin will need to work on is cutting down on the penalties after conceding 10 last season. This could prove to be the Redskins best value signing of free agency thus far.
13:20 Remember when Geno Hayes was an exciting young linebacker and not the headless chicken type who was a bit all over the place? Either the Broncos are so preoccupied with Manning that they've forgotten how poor Hayes was last year, or they're hoping to coax the good play lurking somewhere inside Hayes out. The former Buc went from getting a +7.6 in 2010 to a -11.1 in 2011, with the only shining light being he didn't miss as many tackles as some of the other Bucs defenders.
12:55 RE-SIGNING! The Giants have re-signed punter Steve Weatherford. He's signed a biggy for a punter, five years and $12.75m. That's a lot of green for a punter. Weatherford was exceptional in the Super Bowl and had a pretty good year in finishing 8th in our punter rankings. After a year with Matt Dodge this makes sense.
12:30 One of our top 75 available free agents, Cedric Griffin, is scheduled for a visit with the Redskins according to Aaron Wilson. Griffin is an intriguing talent, who did exceptionally well last year when you consider he was coming off the back of two torn ACLs. The big question for him is can he take the next step up a year further removed from those injuries. Washington saw Griffin first hand in week 16 last year when he gave up just 2 catches for 13 yards.
12:22 According to Bob McGinn the Titans are still keen on Scott Wells as they look to upgrade the interior of their offensive line. Our 4th ranked center last year, Wells would replace the man who finished 32nd in those same rankings, Eugene Amano.
12:00 The Ravens have moved quickly to replace Ben Grubbs. They've made a contract offer to Evan Mathis who is mulling it over. The Eagles have also put in a contract offer so it now it remains to be seen where our top ranked guard from 2011 will be playing his football. If it's just down to these two teams he has the option of either forming the best left side of an offensive line in the league with Jason Peters, or the best guard tandem in the league in Baltimore with Marshal Yanda. Decisions, decisions.
11:48 Michael Lombardi reports that the Raiders will release Kamerion Wimbley today. Not exactly shocking, and something that has been reported heavily over the last two weeks with an impending roster bonus on the way. In a weak market for pass rushers, Wimbley figures to have plenty of suitors after registering six sacks, 16 hits and 40 hurries while rushing mainly from the Raiders sub package defenses.
11:36 The Bengals appear to be getting ready to make some moves with lots of visits lined up. One of them is former first round bust, Jammal Anderson. The one time Falcon didn't really catch on in Indianapolis, but if you go back to his 2010 season you see a guy who could be an option as an early down defensive end. He had our 8th highest grade in run defense of all defensive ends, and while he struggles to generate consistent pressure, he could do a job replacing Frostee Rucker.
11:30 Another visit being reported, this time by Jim Thomas of the St Louis Dispatch, and that sees Nate Livings with the Rams. There may be a need at guard in St Louis but we wonder whether Livings is the option. He was our 56th ranked guard in 2011 after finishing 54th the year before. There are worse guards in the leauge, but the former Bengal is consistently below average.
11:20 The former Detroit Lions DE/DT Andre Fluellen is visiting with the Bengals. That would seem a like for like replacement for tweener Jonathan Fanene given Fluellen spent 69.8% of his snaps at defensive tackle in 2011 and 60% at the spot in 2010. He graded negatively in both years so don't get too excited Bengals fans.
11:15 It's oh so quiet so why you don't you a take a look at the top 75 available free agents according to Pro Football Focus?
10:39 Adam Caplan has us all on roster bonus and contract watch for 16:00 this afternoon. Names that Caplan has listed to keep an eye on are Kamerion Wimbley of the Raiders, Kevin Kolb of the Cardinals, Bryant McKinnie of the Ravens, Spencer Johnson of the Bills and Joselio Hanson of the Eagles. He expects Hanson to remain with the Eagles as he is due a platry $175,000 and both Kolb and McKinnie have been given either direct or indirect assurances of remaining with their respective teams this week. Wimbley is the name to keep an eye on, he is due a lot of money from the cap strapped Raiders and all accounts point to there being no recent discussions between the two sides. Wimbley is an unconventional three down linebackers, putting his hand in the dirt rather than covering on third downs, and should be able to convert that ability into good money and competition for his signature if/when he hits the open market.
10:26 SIGNING! Following his visit yesterday Aaron Wilson is reporting that the Carolina Panthers are expected to lock up a deal with former Raven S Haruki Nakamura on a three year deal. Nakamura struggled for playing time this season registering only 39 snaps this year and picking up four tackles. His highest snap count in four seasons in Baltimore was 286 during the 2010 season where he struggled to make an impact but also proved not to be a weak link. The Panthers were killed last season by big plays yielded by their safeties and Nakamura should at least bring competition for Sherrod Martin, on merit he could beat him out.
10:21 Tom Peilissero is adding a little more detail to what we already suspected on the market at linebacker. He is hearing that the Vikings and Erin Henderson are still in touch but waiting for a couple of other players to sign first and establish market value. He still feels that Henderson will remain in Minnesota but it will be interesting to see who blinks first and makes a move at linebacker. There are some quality players still available at linebacker but teams seem unwilling to pay big dollars for the position this year. The waiting game continues.
10:09 Aaron Wilson reports that the Patriots aren't done with trying to upgrade at the safety position. After signing Steve Gregory yesterday they appear to be lining up a patented injury risk on a physical safety by bringing in former Redskin LaRon Landry for a visit which is expected to begin on Saturday. Landry has well documented injury concerns and has a penchant for giving up the big play in coverage but until his 2011 season was cut short by injury he was a force in run defense for the Redskins grading positively in six of his eight starts this season.
10:08 According to Chris Mortensen this is not an end game for Manning it is just the Broncos continuing their due diligence as they will be attending a workout with Manning at Duke University. This may or may not be reaching an end game, we're down to two teams it can't drag much further, but this is at least an escalation with the Broncos getting to find out more about where Manning actually is by seeing a full workout from him.
10:01 At times this week twitter has felt like a plane watcher's paradise rather than a free agent frenzy. Today's flight plan comes courtesy of Albert Breer who states that the Broncos' plane is headed for Raleigh NC leaving Denver at 08:31 MT whilst the Titans' plane is still in Houston. The Formula 1 season is under way in Australia but are we possibly going to get an air race over the United States to see who can get to Peyton Manning first? Mile High Report is confirming that John Elway will be on that plane headed for North Carolina. Is the Manning chase reaching an end game today?
09:56 Grant Paulsen reports that in spite of his visit with the Bengals extending to an overnight stay from Thursday to Friday, Aaron Ross is still scheduled to visit with the Washington Redskins today. Ross is a Super Bowl champ but has struggled to live up to his draft hype in particular struggling with consistency. His season performance chart in terms of his coverage grades is a story of peaks and troughs. If as a franchise you think you can iron out the wrinkles and make him a more consistent performer he has the ability to be a good corner.
09:45 This has been widely reported over the last 24 hours but Jeff Darlington has added a little more detail to the Peyton Manning story by reporting that Manning contacted the Dolphins personally on Thursday to advise them that he would not be signing with Miami. It is perhaps no coincidence that the Dolphins then raised their interest, according to sources, in Matt Flynn. Mike Klis has reported this morning that the Cardinals are out of the running as well, their clock running very low before they owe Kevin Kolb are serious chunk of change. This starts to bring the quarterback carousel into a little sharper focus with the Titans and Broncos the final two in for Manning. Adam Schefter is reporting that the Dolphins are now the likely landing spot for Flynn. Would anyone rule out another twist in the tail though?
09:38 On top of reporting that the Ravens are still in discussion with Evan Mathis, Aaron Wilson reports that the Dolphins will be hosting a vist from former Patriot DE Mark Anderson. Anderson rejuvenated his career in New England this season being a solid contributor in spot time before taking over an elevated role when Andre Carter went down through injury. Anderson graded above +1.0 for his pass rush in seven games last season including recording seven total pressures against Baltimore in the AFC Championship game. Anderson would bring another pass rusher to the Dolphins defense but he wouldn't necessarily be the ideal complement to Cameron Wake who is being lined up as a weak side DE in the Dolphins new 4-3 defense.
08:57 RE-SIGNING! The Browns have announced through twitter the re-signing of OL John Greco. Greco, a former third round pick out of Toledo by the St Louis Rams, only recorded 52 snaps with the Browns last season. 51 of those snaps came in relief of Shaun Lauvao at RG in the Browns Week 5 home game with the Seahawks, the other one coming as sixth lineman eight weeks later in Arizona. Greco had a very good five week stretch for St Louis in 2010, grading +7.9 from Week 3 to Week 7 but has only ever recorded three starts in his career. A solid re-signing for depth from the Browns.
08:55 Day three of free agency is in the books, counting the day to midnight not on a 24hr cycle from 4pm Tuesday, and our analysts have clubbed together to give their reaction to the day's news. Who won? Who lost? What should five teams in the AFC be doing differently? Find the answer to all those questions and more right here.
0852 As a further to our last update on the Ravens offensive line visits Bryant McKinnie has tweeted that he will be in Baltimore next season. Three into two doesn't go if anything does inded come of Eric Winston‘s visit though.
08:20 The Ravens are reportedly still hosting G Evan Mathis in to today and Luke Jones of WNST in Baltimore reports that he will be joined on Friday by former Texans T Eric Winston if he makes it away from Kansas City. Winston appears to be taking an extended free agent tour and is smart to do so. As one of the league's better tackles there should be a big market for him that his agent should be able to parley into a good contract for the former Miami Hurricane. How Winston would fit in Baltimore would be interesting to see as the Ravens are apparently committed to keeping Bryant McKinnie (with Aaron Wilson reporting they will pay him a bonus he is due soon) and with Michael Oher still in town one of the Ravens incumbent starters would presumably be out on their ear. McKinnie is the only left tackle in the group and Oher has seen his career development disrupted by his 2010 foray at left tackle. Winston also is receiving interest from Detroit and St Louis amongst others.
07:53 RELEASE! No news is too small for the PFF Free Agency reaction blog. The Panthers have cut Demario Pressley after he managed 40 snaps for them last year in week 17. He's struggled to see much playing time in his career but not embarrassed himself with the 227 career snaps he's seen.
07:45 And you'll be relieved to know that the top 75 free agents and Deal Grader have now been updated!
07:11 While we wait for any news, the PFF staff will be busy updating their top 75 free agents and deal grader. Stay tuned for developments!
05:00 Some of the big boys of free agency have gone, but we're still waiting for markets to be set at certain positions. What can we expect today? Keep checking back and we won't just give you all the news, but give you instant analysis on what it means.
