This season, we’re launching a weekly series at PFF that provides a behind-the-scenes look at our grading process. Each week, we’ll break down some of the highest-graded individual plays, complete with tweets to show you the action.

Here are a few standout plays from Week 10.

Derek Stingley Jr.’s impressive interception

The fact that Derek Stingley Jr. prevented a reception on this crossing route was impressive on its own, but securing the interception to take the ball away made the play even more remarkable. It earned a +1.5 PFF grade.

J.J. McCarthy’s deep pass to Jalen Nailor

It was an up-and-down game for J.J. McCarthy, who made some poor decisions in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens but also showed several encouraging flashes, including this play. He earned a +1.0 PFF grade for this big-time throw, placing the ball perfectly for wide receiver Jalen Nailor.

Nik Bonitto’s quick win for the sack

The Broncos’ defense needed to make plays throughout the game after a lackluster showing from the offense, and edge defender Nik Bonitto delivered with consistent pass-rush wins. This quick victory off the edge earned a +1.5 PFF grade and was one of four total pressures he recorded in the game.

Drake Maye’s dime to Mack Hollins

The Patriots quarterback strengthened his MVP case with a big road win on Sunday, and throws like this were a major reason for the victory. This big-time throw to Mack Hollins earned a +1.0 PFF grade.
