Fantasy: The Snap Report -- Divisional Playoffs Offense

The weekly offensive snap report is a summary of the participation data for each team’s running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends. Although the main focus is snaps, we also cover important categories like pass routes and designed runs.

49ers 36, Saints 32

Michael Crabtree paced the wideouts with 58 snaps, followed by Kyle Williams with 50. Ted Ginn managed 23 snaps before leaving with a knee injury. Brett Swain got 19 snaps. Tight end Vernon Davis played all 69 snaps – to historic effect — with Justin Peele getting 22. Frank Gore was a backfield workhorse, working 59 snaps to Kendall Hunter’s nine. Anthony Dixon got in for one play. Fullback Bruce Miller worked 22 plays.

Marques Colston played an astonishing 74 snaps, running 63 pass routes. Devery Henderson played 67 snaps, Robert Meachem 56 and Adrian Arrington 20 as Lance Moore watched again. Tight end Jimmy Graham was on the field for 59 plays. Mike Higgins got 18 snaps in part because Graham left briefly with an injury. Pierre Thomas got hurt on his third snap, leaving Darren Sproles with 66 snaps and Chris Ivory with 13. Fullback Jed Collins worked 21 snaps.

Patriots 45, Broncos 10

Wes Welker led the WRs with 61 snaps, just ahead of Deion Branch’s 58. Julian Edelman played 27 snaps, Tiquan Underwood nine and Chad Ochocinco one. Tight end Rob Gronkowski got 66 snaps to Aaron Hernandez’s 57, but Hernandez ran more pass routes, 34-31. Matt Slater got in for two plays as a run blocker. Benjarvus Green-Ellis paced the crowded backfield with 21 snaps. Danny Woodhead got 10 and Stevan Ridley eight. Fullback Lousaka Polite was in for six plays.

With Eric Decker sidelined, Demaryius Thomas played 70 snaps and Eddie Royal 63. Matt Willis was in for 36 plays, and D’Andre Goodwin got on the field once. Tight end Daniel Fells played 70 snaps. Virgil Green got 26 snaps, Dante Rosario nine. Lance Ball dominated backfield snaps in comeback mode over Willis McGahee, finishing with a 45-28 edge. Jeremiah Johnson got four snaps.

Ravens 20, Texans 13

Anquan Boldin got no separation, but what’s new? His knee held up for 59 plays. Torrey Smith played 53, and Lee Evans got eight. Ed Dickson got the edge over Dennis Pitta in tight end snaps, 44-35. Kris Wilson made the most of his one pass route; he played three snaps. Ray Rice worked 51 snaps, Ricky Williams spelling him for 12. Vonta Leach played 47 snaps, a huge number for fullbacks in today’s NFL.

Andre Johnson paced the wideouts with 60 snaps. Kevin Walter got 51, Jacoby Jones 21 and Bryant Johnson two. Joel Dreessen led the tight ends with 52 snaps, and banged-up Owen Daniels got 34. Arian Foster was on the field for 58 plays, Ben Tate just four. Fullback Lawrence Vickers worked 24 plays. James Casey played 12 snaps.

Giants 37, Packers 20

Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz each ran 36 pass routes, with Nicks edging Cruz 59-55 in snaps. Mario Manningham played 29 snaps, Devin Thomas two and Jerrel Jernigan one. Jake Ballard led the tight ends with 55 snaps, while Travis Beckum played 13. Ahmad Bradshaw paced the backfield with 29 snaps. Brandon Jacobs got 18 and Danny Ware 15. Fullback Henry Hynoski worked 22 plays. Bear Pascoe lined up at fullback nine times.

Jordy Nelson easily led the WRs with 66 snaps. Donald Driver played 42, while Greg Jennings and James Jones played 41 apiece. Randall Cobb was on the field for 19 plays. Jermichael Finley played 51 snaps at tight end, with Tom Crabtree getting 33 and Ryan Taylor six. In the backfield, Ryan Grant and James Starks each got 28 snaps. Brandon Saine played five. Fullback John Kuhn worked 25 plays.
