We’re somehow already one quarter of the way through the 2017 NFL season. That’s sad.
But the good news is that we’re starting to get a clearer picture of what’s going on this year, and our season-long teams are rounding into shape. Whether you’re at the top of the standings or bringing up the rear, odds are you can improve your team through a trade.
The trade value chart uses our rest-of-season projections to assign values to every relevant player. The dollar amounts assume a 12-team league and a starting lineup of 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, and 1 Flex. The players are displayed in order of their standard league values, but we’ve included the PPR values for those players as well.
This week’s biggest riser was Jordan Howard. Perhaps we were a bit too quick to fully write him off. Tarik Cohen is still a legitimate threat, but Howard has still seen a healthy 63 rushing attempts (13th in the NFL).
Chris Hogan is rising after starting the fire off red hot. He appears set as a WR2, but his perceived value might still be lower. Try to buy now before he keeps scoring touchdowns. He might be in for an Eric Decker-esque season where he scores nearly every week.
Jay Ajayi saw his value tumble after banging up his knee in Week 3 and failing in a smash spot in Week 4. He could fail again in Week 5 in a tough matchup. This is a buy-low opportunity for an RB1.
Jason Witten’s value continues to decrease. He’s still a sell-high candidate after his amazing start to the season. After starting the year with a 17-154-2 line over the first two weeks, he’s produced just 2-12-0 over the last two games.
