- Start the best Cleveland Browns players: Cleveland is dealing with several injuries on offense and has a good matchup against the Chicago Bears, so Quinshon Judkins and Harold Fannin Jr. should both see significant volume.
- Sit Alec Pierce: The Indianapolis Colts‘ quarterback situation might not be a major problem for most Colts players, but their deep threat is facing a particularly rough matchup.

I asked fantasy managers on the PFF Discord and Bluesky which players they are least sure about this week, and I compiled that list and ranked them against one another. If you have multiple players mentioned, you should start with the player ranked highest. At the bottom of each position, you'll find players to start in place of the featured players and those to sit in favor of them.
If a player isn’t mentioned, that means they are very close to those with blurbs, and factors such as injuries on the opposing defenses or weather could influence the rankings. Situations involving injuries are also generally avoided because things typically don't become clearer until closer to kickoff. As always, check the weekly PFF fantasy rankings for the most up-to-date information to help you make all start-sit decisions.
RUNNING BACKS
1. Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns
Judkins has spent the season as the Browns’ early-down back, playing at least 60% of snaps on first and second downs, in short-yardage situations and in goal-line scenarios. Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson both dealt with injuries in December, and Ford landed on injured reserve. However, that has yet to push Judkins into a bigger role. That could change this week, as both Ford and Sampson may not play. Sampson was unable to practice Wednesday with calf and hand injuries.
The Ohio State product has run the ball at least 14 times in each of the past five games but has barely been involved in the passing game. Judkins caught a 58-yard pass this past week, though, so the other backs' injuries and his big play could lead to more receiving production.
Judkins has averaged 0.4 yards before contact per carry, tied for second lowest among running backs with at least 100 carries. His 3.3 yards after contact per carry ranks ninth. Cleveland has run 25 goal-line plays this season, the eighth fewest in the league. The offensive line and the offense in general have also limited Judkins' fantasy production. His rushing volume and work after contact have been enough for him to reach 12.9 PPR points per game, ranking 22nd among running backs.
Cleveland faces the Chicago Bears this week, and Chicago has allowed 5.1 yards per carry this season — the third-highest average among defenses — with a poor PFF run-defense grade (ninth worst). The Browns have had a rough run-defense schedule so far, facing only two teams in the bottom 10 in yards per carry allowed and only two teams with a bottom-10 PFF run-defense grade. The Bears will be their first opponent to qualify for both thresholds.
Judkins has consistently been considered a low-end RB2, but he could shine against Chicago’s run defense. He is a high-end RB2 this week.
2. TreVeyon Henderson, New England Patriots
