Welcome to the Week 7 edition of Snaps, Pace, & Stats, where we examine trends in snap totals and no-huddle usage. It is meant to be a 30,000-foot view of upcoming games, with the goal of identifying which matchups will – and which will not – be played on fertile fantasy soil.

Atlanta Falcons at New England Patriots
The Falcons have not run a lot of plays despite the 13th-quickest seconds-per-snap pace, as four of their five opponents rank bottom-half in snaps surrendered. Atlanta ran 72 plays against that fifth defense, the Bills — whose 64.6 plays per game allowed ranks 13th. The Patriots surrender the fourth-most, and opponents pass against them at the 10th-highest situation-neutral rate (59.2 percent). Despite allowing plenty of snaps, they still give up the seventh-most points per play. New England averages the most passing yards surrendered (324.8), and the last time they did not give up a 300-yard passing day was in the Super Bowl.
