Welcome to the Week 16 edition of Snaps, Pace & Stats, where we examine trends in snap totals and no-huddle usage. It is meant as a 30,000-foot view of upcoming games, with the goal of identifying which matchups will — and which will not — be played on fertile fantasy soil.
Most of that soil is frozen by now, when most fantasy championships will be decided. We will examine a couple of extra games below in honor of that, and because it is a light week for No-Huddle Notes — as many teams have throttled down the tempo late in the season. Good luck if you are playing for your league’s crown, and if not, hopefully you win some holiday money playing DFS.

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles run the third-most plays per game (67.9) and lead the league during the last month (73.8). The Giants average the second-most snaps allowed (68.1), and while they held the Lions to 59 plays on Sunday, Detroit’s offense is purposefully plodding. Philadelphia’s pace tends to crawl as well, with the league’s 10th-slowest seconds-per-snap rate. Yet, over the last four weeks they are fourth-quickest, and Carson Wentz leads the league in pass attempts since Week 6. The Eagles will likely struggle with the Giants’ fifth-highest-graded run defense (3.6 yards per carry allowed; third-lowest), and would benefit by top cornerback Janoris Jenkins’ potential absence.
