Perfect 2023 fantasy football draft strategy, round by round for 16-team leagues

• Draft at least one or two wide receivers early: In other league formats, you can stock up on quality wide receivers in the middle round, but that is harder to do when 16 teams are drafting.

• It still makes sense to target a top-seven tight end: There are only so many tight ends who will produce on any kind of consistent basis. Drafting one still provides an edge.

• You can wait on a quarterback: There are about 15 quarterbacks who are worthy of being considered fantasy starters. Some of these players get drafted as backups in small leagues. In a league this size, almost every team will get one.
