Another six teams are on bye this week. That along with the numerous injury situations make start/sit decisions more complicated than ever, especially at the flex position. To help you with those choices, here’s this week’s edition of the flex rankings:

(Updated Nov. 4)

1. Ezekiel Elliott, DAL (RB1) — The NFL's leading rusher gets a dream matchup against the Browns this week.

2. Le'Veon Bell, PIT (RB2) — Following the Steelers’ bye, Bell is tied for fourth among running backs in targets despite missing three games.

3. Julio Jones, ATL (WR1)

4. Melvin Gordon, SD (RB3) — Tennessee is a tougher matchup than many realize, but Gordon's heavy volume bodes well for strong production.

5. Antonio Brown, PIT (WR2) — Big Ben is trending toward playing, which would be a boost for Brown's value.

6. Devonta Freeman, ATL (RB4)

7. DeMarco Murray, TEN (RB5) — He was dinged up last week, but there's no indication that Murray won't get a full workload in Week 9.

8. Mike Evans, TB (WR3)

9. Charcandrick West, KC (RB6) — Spencer Ware is almost certain to be out with a concussion. That means a potential huge workload for West.

10. Devontae Booker, DEN (RB7) — Denver used Booker as their clear lead back, feeding him 24 touches last week. Expect the volume to continue.

11. Odell Beckham Jr., NYG (WR4) — Beckham has been frustrating at times this season, but his ceiling is enormous.

12. T.Y. Hilton, IND (WR5) — Keep an eye on Hilton's practice status this week, as he exited last Sunday's contest with a hamstring injury.

13. Matt Forte, NYJ (RB8) — His production hasn't been efficient, but Forte remains on the RB1 radar as long as the Jets keep giving him big workloads.

14. Christine Michael, SEA (RB9) — C.J. Prosise played well last week, but Michael remains the Seahawks early-down workhorse.

15. Jordy Nelson, GB (WR6) — Tied for the league lead among wide receivers in touchdowns with six, Nelson remains an every-week WR1.
