Cleveland Browns Mock Draft: Rebuilding around young talent at receiver and along the offensive line

  • The entire Browns starting interior offensive line is set to hit free agency: Expect the Browns to target offensive line early and often in the 2026 NFL Draft.
  • Wide receiver should be another high priority: The Browns look to have found something in rookie TE Harold Fannin, but there is little to be excited about long-term at wide receiver. If the Browns don’t have a QB they love at the top of the draft, receiver could be the target with their earliest pick.

For many fans, the writing is already on the wall for their teams’ seasons, and it’s time to look to the future. That means getting an early look at the 2026 NFL Draft class, and PFF is here to help.

Each week, we'll mock draft for two new teams, and the 2-8 Cleveland Browns are next on the clock. The first overall pick is still very much in play for Cleveland, but for this exercise we’ll slot them at No. 4.

This is not meant to be a predictive exercise — we aren’t close to knowing the actual draft order — but rather an introduction to expected team needs and potential targets. Think of it this way: this is the one series you can afford to wait on for your team, because the longer it takes for them to appear, the better they are performing on the field this season.

Round 1, Pick 4: WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State

While offensive tackle and quarterback are options for Cleveland’s first pick, Tyson stands out as the superior prospect on the board at this stage. Injuries have sidelined him for the past month, but he was one of the most dynamic weapons in the country over the first eight weeks of the college season, hauling in 57 catches with just one drop, eight touchdowns and 34 first downs.

Round 1, Pick 20: T Kadyn Proctor, Alabama

Currently ranked 28th on the PFF Big Board, Proctor is an obvious fit for a struggling Browns offensive line. Across 400 pass-blocking snaps this season, he has allowed just one sack and 16 total pressures, and he pairs that with an impressive 85.4 blocking grade on zone runs.

Round 2, Pick 36: CB Avieon Terrell, Clemson

Brother of longtime Falcons standout A.J. Terrell, Avieon has grown up with a firsthand look at what it takes to play cornerback at a high level. While he has yet to record an interception this season, he is allowing just a 54.9% completion rate into his coverage and has forced incompletions on an impressive 17.6% of his targets.

Round 3, Pick 68: C Jake Slaughter, Florida

The entire starting interior offensive line for the Browns is set to hit free agency in March, and with all three players on the plus side of 30, the team will almost certainly be looking to invest in youth. Slaughter fits that trajectory, as he has been nearly impenetrable for the Gators this season, allowing just one sack and three total pressures on 355 pass-protection snaps.

Round 4, Pick 104: G Chase Bisontis, Texas A&M

Bisontis has been one of the most reliable guards in the country in pass protection over the past two seasons, allowing just one sack and one quarterback hit across 579 combined reps.
