  • NC State’s Bradley Chubb returns for his senior year as one of the premier edge-rushers for the 2017 college football season. Chubb enters the season as having a Day 1 PFF projection and one of PFF's preseason top three edge defenders in the class.
  • Chubb is one of the best run-stopping edge defenders in this year’s class. His run stop percentage of 10.4 ranks No. 5 in this year’s class as last season he finished No. 1 in the ACC with 39 total defensive stops (a defensive stop is a tackle that results in a “win” for the defense). He has the sixth-highest percentage of positively-graded plays versus the run among draft eligible edge defenders in 2016.
  • Chubb showed great ability to win in a variety of ways last season – 21 of his 53 pressures came from winning outside (39.6 percent) and another 16 came from the inside (30.2 percent), he also picked up a bullrush pressure every 59.7 rushes, which was No. 9 in the draft class.
  • Chubb could improve on his missed tackles, as in his career he has missed 23 of his 116 career tackle attempts, or one out of every five attempts.
