- With Ahkello Witherspoon and Chidobe Awuzie both off to the NFL, the Colorado Buffaloes are in need of a cornerback to step up in 2017 and that player should very well be junior Isaiah Oliver.
- Playing 517 snaps in 2016 as a sophomore, the 6-foot 190 pound Oliver recorded overall and coverage grades of 80.7.
- A two-time All-Conference performer in the decathlon, Oliver is No. 2 among returning Pac-12 cornerbacks in completion percentage against when targeted with a figure of 43.1 percent on 58 targets. Oliver's passer rating allowed when targeted of 68.8 ranks No. 3 among returning Pac-12 corners who had 30 or more targets thrown their way.
- During the 2016 season, Oliver allowed 1.06 yards per coverage snap, and ranked No. 7 among returning Pac-12 corners by allowing a reception once every 13.9 snaps in coverage.
