Welcome to the Week 10 edition of Snaps, Pace & Stats, where we examine trends in snap totals and no-huddle usage. It is meant as a 30,000-foot view of upcoming games, with the goal of identifying which matchups will — and which will not — be played on fertile fantasy soil.

Up in pace

Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles

The Falcons run a middling 63.4 snaps per game, but lead the league in both points and yards per play. The Eagles average only 61.5 snaps allowed (fifth-fewest), but over the last month it’s climbed to 69.5 (seventh-highest). They have given up at least 27 points in three of their last four outings, and Philadelphia’s increased tempo has led to elevated snap counts on both sides of the ball (more in No-Huddle Notes). Last week, Atlanta hit the 70-play mark for the first time this season and put up 43 points.
