Week 4 optimal DraftKings lineup: Use Le'Veon Bell

Our Week 3 DraftKings lineup wasn’t as strong as Week 2, but the 126.34 points was enough to cash out in some H2H contests on DraftKings. Why, oh why, did I leave out Marvin Jones last week? Lesson learned.

We’re back at in Week 4, and, yes, Jones is included this time. Here’s my optimal DraftKings lineup for Sunday’s main slate:

QB: Kirk Cousins, Washington Redskins ($6,500)

Cousins has not been brilliant to start the season, but he currently ranks in the top five in both pass attempts (124) and yards (989). Cousins has dropped back to pass an absurd 71.5 percent of his snaps, and that’s not going to change this week (or all season). The volume is there, and this week, the matchup is there as well. The Redskins square off against the Browns, who have given up an average of 28 points per game so far this year.

Despite his slow start to the season, Cousins is still averaging just under three times the points of his salary (you want players who can return three times their salary — divided by a thousand — to optimally equal a competitive point total). As such, and considering the matchup, he’s a safe bet to return 3x value this week, with the real possibility of 4x.
