It’s crazy, but we are now entering the fourth week of the NFL season, meaning we are almost a quarter of the way through the season. This brings us to our fourth edition of the daily fantasy football locks of the week. Each week, I’m selecting seven plays — two quarterbacks, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end — who are priced outside the top-five at their position and should be in as many of your DFS lineups as possible.
The idea is that you will be able to build a lineup around these players who are “locks” and still have money available to spend up to get studs like Antonio Brown into your lineup as well. While it’s based around DFS, you are able to use this information to help make decisions in your weekly leagues as well.
Quarterbacks
Kirk Cousins, Washington Redskins (vs. Browns)
The first couple weeks of the season were not Cousins’ best friend, as he’s racked up a massive 124 attempts, but thrown just three touchdowns with just as many interceptions. That’s one passing touchdown every 41.3 attempts, just one year after he threw for 29 touchdowns on 543 attempts (one every 18.7 attempts). While he’s been missing some easy throws, his Week 4 opponent has the cure for seemingly every quarterback.
