Final Score

Baltimore Ravens 45, Los Angeles Rams 6

Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson added to his MVP resumè with yet another stellar night. To put his night into perspective, at halftime he had zero incompletions and three touchdown passes. With the Rams' offense struggling to put anything together, the Ravens extended drives and ran the ball with a lot of success tonight.

Rookie receiver Marquise Brown had two touchdowns, both of which came in the first half. He could have had a third, but he dropped a well-thrown slant route in the end zone.

Jimmy Smith got a first-quarter sack of Jared Goff on a cornerback blitz. Smith added an interception in the fourth quarter. Matthew Judon beat Gerald Everett outside for a second-quarter strip-sack of Goff that ended the Rams’ drive and forced a field goal.

Marcus Peters made the best play of the night for the Ravens’ defense when he dropped underneath a Robert Woods corner route and made a leaping interception of Goff.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams' defense looked overmatched all night against Baltimore's offensive line. They struggled to play their gaps and contain Jackson and the Ravens running backs.

Jalen Ramsey was not targeted much at all tonight, and Aaron Donald — outside of a couple of dominant pass rush wins — didn't make any splash plays.

The Rams’ offense sputtered all night against the Ravens’ defense. Goff threw two interceptions, but one wasn’t his fault. And Todd Gurley continued to not look as explosive as he did last season.

Cooper Kupp dropped a pass running an out route in the fourth quarter, but the ball fell into Jimmy Smith’s hands for an interception. Woods picked up some yardage in garbage time.
