Final Score

Green Bay Packers 23, Minnesota Vikings 10

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers didn't make any splash plays, but he did an excellent job of carving up the defense on slants and crossers to extend drives and play keep-away from the Vikings' offense.

Aaron Jones‘  long touchdown run was the highlight of the night. He exploded down the left sideline to put the Packers up by two scores in the fourth quarter.

Edge defender Za’Darius Smith had a very productive night against the Vikings. He produced a second-quarter sack after running outside of Riley Reiff and he added a second sack in the third quarter after quickly beating center Garrett Bradbury. Smith's third sack of the game came in the fourth quarter when he and Preston Smith met at the quarterback, and he finished his game off right by generating a fourth sack after beating Bradbury on a stunt.

Minnesota Vikings

Stefon Diggs scored the only touchdown for the Vikings on Monday, as the Minnesota offense failed to do much on the ground or in the air against the Packers’ defense.

The Vikings' defense did a good job of creating turnovers in the first half, as they forced fumbles in addition to Anthony Harris intercepting Aaron Rodgers.

Defensive end Danielle Hunter was an absolute handful for the Packers' offensive line tonight, as he tallied several pass-rush wins and made some good plays in the run game.
