Quarterback is the most important position on the field, but we can often get stuck in their most recent blunders or successes, making it difficult to come up with an objective ranking.

2023 Week 10 Analytical Quarterback Rankings
Most efficient passer: C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
Stroud racked up 470 passing yards and five touchdowns in Week 9, completing 71.4% of his passes and averaging a league-best 11.2 yards per pass attempt. The Texans rookie also ranked first at the position in adjusted completion percentage (89.5%) and passer rating (147.8).
Only four of the Texans' drives ended scoreless — pretty good for a rookie.

Most explosive passer: C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans
Stroud wasn't just efficient. He was explosive, too. The first-year signal-caller completed 14 of the 21 passes he threw at least 10 yards downfield, producing four touchdowns and 327 passing yards — almost 100 yards more than the next-closest quarterback.
Stroud's 96.0 passing grade on these throws led the league in Week 9.

Best under pressure: Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Burrow looked back to his best on Sunday Night Football, and the Bengals are roaring back to Super Bowl contender status.
The Bengals quarterback finished 10-of-16 for 125 yards and one interception on throws under pressure in Week 9, with his 80.8 passing grade on those throws ranking second to only Lamar Jackson‘s 90.9 (Jackson attempted just four passes under pressure).
Burrow took just one sack across 17 pressured dropbacks and recorded two big-time throws and no turnover-worthy plays. He ranks second at the position in PFF grade under pressure through nine weeks of the season.

Best out of the pocket: Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Prescott completed four of his five pass attempts for 75 yards, one touchdown and two big-time throws from outside the pocket in Week 9. He led the position in yards per attempt (15.0) and produced a perfect 158.3 passer rating on these throws.

Quick passes: Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Burrow earned an 84.6 passing grade on throws that took less than 2.5 seconds from snap to pass. He completed 18 of his 25 quick pass attempts for 192 yards, one touchdown and two big-time throws, producing a league-high 10 first downs to seal his team's Week 9 win over Buffalo.
