Victor Cruz paced all skill players with 74 snaps, running 45 pass routes. Hakeem Nicks played 69 snaps, running 43 routes. Mario Manningham did his damage in 34 snaps and 27 routes. Devin Thomas played five snaps. Tight end Jake Ballard played 53 snaps before tearing his ACL. With Travis Beckum leaving early due to injury – he played just six snaps – Bear Pascoe picked up the slack with 29 snaps. Ahmad Bradshaw dominated snaps in the backfield, getting 48. Brandon Jacobs played 16 snaps while Danny Ware had 13. Fullback Henry Hynoski figured prominently with 31 snaps.
With tight end Rob Gronkowski limited to 45 snaps because of his bad ankle, wideout Deion Branch led the Patriots skill players with 62 snaps and 44 pass routes. Wes Welker played 61, running 43 routes. Chad Ochocinco got a stunning 22 snaps, while Julian Edelman had eight and Matthew Slater one. Tight end Aaron Hernandez played 60 snaps, running 42 routes. Danny Woodhead led the backfield with 36 snaps, 14 more than BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Fullback Lousaka Polite was on the field for three plays.
